Haluk Tezonar

Haluk Tezonar (1942 – 1995)

Tezonar was born in Çorlu in 1942 and studied ceramics at the Istanbul Devlet Tatbiki Yüksek School. Under the influence of sculptor Hakkı Karayiğitoğlu, he tended to concentrate on sculpture. He graduated in 1965 and became an assistant at the school. The artist worked as a lecturer at Marmara University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, where he again concentrated on sculpture although he also studied ceramics. He passed away on December 31st, 1995.
