Murat Çobanoğlu

He was born in Kars in 1940. The minstrel who is a primary school graduate is married and has four children. He earns his living by continuing the minstrel tradition. He began to play saz and tell poems after drinking the wine ‘bade’ in his dream. His master is his father Gülistan Çobanoğlu.

He has nearly twenty records and cassettes delivered in 1968-87.
