SHUTTLE EMBROIDERY

The material used in hooked needle embroidery is also used in shuttle embroidery. The loops in the shuttle are applied to a certain length of thread depending on the shape of design. They are easier than needle and harder than hooked needle embroidery. Shuttle embroidery techniques cannot be used for forming designs with volume, so there are fewer varieties of shuttle than needle and hooked needle embroidery.
