Shish Kebab (Tavuk Şiş Kebabı)

Chicken | 1 piece | 1.5 kg |
Onion | 3 medium size | 200 gr |
Milk | 1/2 cup | 100 gr |
Olive Oil | 1/4 cup | 50 gr |
Salt | 2 teaspoon | 12 gr |
Black Pepper | 1/2 teaspoon | 1 gr |
Thyme | 1 teaspoon | 1.5 gr |
Pearl onion (shallots) | 15 piece | 150 gr |
Tomatoe | 3 small size | 300 gr |
Green Pepper | 6 medium size | 100 gr |
Preparation
Bone chicken.
Remove skin. Cut into 2 1/2-3 cm (1-1 1/2 inch). Set aside. Grate onions.
Combine with milk and olive oil. Add seasonings; stir. Combine with chicken
cubes. Place in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Remove from marinate;
drain. Thread on metal skewers alternating with vegetables. Broil on charcoal,
rotating. Serve hot.
