Apricot Compote (Kuru Kayısı Hoşafı)
Ingredients | Measure | Amount |
Dried apricot | 24 piece | 150 gr |
Water | 7 1/2 cup | 1.5 kg |
Sugar | 1 cup | 180 gr |
Preparation
Soak apricots
in water overnight. Simmer in same liquid for 30 minutes in a saucepan. Add
sugar. Stir slowly until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from
heat. Cool. Serve chilled in individual bowls or cups.
