Cabbage Soup (Karalahana

Dried white beans | 1/3 cup | 60 gr |
Wurld corn | 1/3 cup | 60 gr |
Water | 6 cup | 1200 gr |
Onion | 1 small size | 30 gr |
Margarine | 3 tablespoon | 30 gr |
Ground Meat | 1/4 cup | 45 gr |
Tomato paste | 1 tablespoon | 10 gr |
Salt | 2 teaspoon | 12 gr |
Black cabbage | 5-6 leaves | 125 gr |
Black Pepper | 1/4 teaspoon | 0.5 gr |
Red pepper | 1/2 teaspoon | 1 gr |
Preparation
Soak beans and
corn overnight with 2 cups of water. Cook with remaining water in a pressure
saucepan for 45-50 minutes or until tender. Set aside. Saute chopped onion and
ground meat in margarine for 10 minutes in a large saucepan stirring until crumbly;
drain. Add tomato paste. Season with salt. Bring to boil. Add shredded cabbage
and bean-corn mixture; stir. Simmer for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with spices before
serving. Serve hot.

of wurld wheat. lf wurld corn is not a available wurld wheat or pearl barley
can easily be substituted.
