With Ground Meat (Kıymalı Gözleme)

Dry yeast | 3/4 tablespoon | 5.5 gr |
Sugar | 1 teaspoon | 4 gr |
Water (warm) | 1 1/2 cup | 300 gr |
Onion | 1 medium size | 60 gr |
Ground Meat | 1 3/4 cup | 300 gr |
Parsley | 1 bunch | 60 gr |
Tomatoe | 1 small size | 100 gr |
Black Pepper | 1 teaspoon | 2 gr |
Tomatoe paste | 1 tablespoon | 10 gr |
Oil | 1/2 cup | 100 gr |
Margarine | 1/3 cup | 65 gr |
Preparation
Prepare raised
dough as instructed in "Cevizli Çörek" (Shortbread with Walnuts). Set aside.
For filling: Brown ground meat and fınely chopped onion for 15-20 minutes
stirring until meat is crumbly; drain. Remove from heat. Stir in diced tomatoe,
chopped parsley and tomatoe paste. Season with salt and pepper; mix well. Divide
into 10 portions. Prepare gözlemes following instructions in "Peynirli Gözleme"
(Gözleme with Cheese). Brown on both sides. Serve hot.
