RICE CUSTARD SUPREME (Saray Sütlaç)

All the ingredients for Rice Custard except cinnamon
6 canned peaches (Halves)
1 cup water juice of canned peaches
1/2 cup sugar
1 tblsp lemon juice
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup ground blanched almonds or 1/4 cup crushed pistachio nuts

Cook canned peaches (halves) in its own ( 1 cup) of juice adding half a cup of water and lemon juice until almost all the water is gone. You should have very soft and very sweet peach halves. Let this cool then gently lift and put one half peach on each serving dish of the rice custard when it is well set in the refrigerator. Top each peach with two teaspoons of whipped cream and top this with one tablespoon of ground blanched almonds or a pinch of ground pistachio nuts.
