Spinach with Rice

WITH RICE (Pirinçli Ispanak)

1/2 1 b leaf spinach (or frozen)
1/4 cup rice
1 large onion, chopped
1/4
cup salad oil or olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon
black pepper
1/4 cup water
Wash
drain and chop the spinach (you may use chopped frozen spinach) Place oil in the
cooking pot, add chopped onions and stir them until trasparent. Add spinach, rice
and all the rest of the ingredients and cook covered until rice is done, about
twenty minutes. Serve hot with yogurt and mashed garlic or with some lemon juice.
